The How to Draw a Dinosaur exhibition, has been extended due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to conclude on 24 May, the exhibition will now remain open until 19 July 2025, offering visitors additional time to explore this unique fusion of art and science.

If you haven't made it already, make sure to come down to engage with interactive exhibits, including the reimagined Rainbow Room, where visitors can design their own dinosaurs and see them come to life. The exhibition also features works from renowned artists such as projection artist Craig Walsh, street artist Phoebe Paradise, and inflatable sculptor Matthew Aberline.

Visitors will also be treated to stunning illustrations by world-renowned paleoartists such as Dr Lida Xing and Andy Frazer, plus works from local sculptor Christine Mellor and painter Michael Stiegler.

Real fossils on loan from national institutions provide an authentic glimpse into the history of how dinosaurs have been reimagined over time through science and pop culture.

How to Draw a Dinosaur is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.

Catch ENCOUNTERS in the Tweed River

The exhibition has also bought prehistoric creatures to the Tweed River via the installation ENCOUNTERS by award winning local artist Craig Walsh.

The artwork brings creatures to life in the water underneath Murwillumbah Bridge from 5.30 - 8.30 pm.
