Omnia: all and everything

On exhibition

9 April 2024 - 23 November 2024

Omnia Exhibition

Omnia invites you to reimagine the Museum's collection, taking you on a playful journey through our shared history.

Museums, with their eclectic collections spanning from natural wonders to cultural artefacts, embody the audacious pursuit of capturing "all and everything" of human existence. Omnia features over 200 carefully selected objects, many of which have never been unveiled to the public, they are curated into thematic delights.

See the smallest things in the collection, the undertaker's top hat from the 1930s, a how to guide to embalming in the 1890s, and more. Visit the Museum's stunning new immersive space, a rainbow-themed wonderland that invites young minds to explore, learn, and play. Step into the immersive world of “Mini Murwillumbah” where the timeless charm of the town comes alive against the backdrop of the majestic Wollumbin and its hinterland.

Within this immersive space, indulge your senses in a pure visual exploration or follow the call of curiosity and delve into the stories held on the touchscreens throughout the space.
