Donations and gifts
The Tweed Regional Museum has grown from the generosity of community members. The Museum manages a significant collection that preserves and shares the rich history and heritage of this unique region.
You can provide valuable support through a donation, gift or bequest.
Make a monetary donation
Tweed Regional Museum is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a public museum. This endorsement entitles donors to make tax deductible gifts and donations to the Museum.
Members of the public may contribute to a Fund specifically established by Tweed Shire Council to receive donations to the Museum. Donations may be made for a range of purposes.
All donations to Tweed Regional Museum of five thousand dollars or more will be acknowledged by the inclusion of the donor's name on the Museum Donor Board at TRM Murwillumbah. This board is prominently located in the 'Link', a warm and open space that connects and marries the old and the new buildings.
Naming rights opportunities
Donors may choose to have their contribution acknowledged by taking up a limited number of opportunities for naming rights within the new Museum addition.
Various areas are available within this spacious new display area designed by award winning architect Paul Berkemeier.
All naming rights are for a period of ten (10) years. Donor names will be acknowledged on prominent signage within the chosen area.
Naming rights donors will be acknowledged in perpetuity, and will be given the first opportunity to renew their exclusive support at the end of ten years.
