School bookings

Pencil and slate - Copyright Tweed Shire Council Bookings are essential for all school groups

The Tweed Regional Museum is pleased to offer school tours at its Murwillumbah branch. Groups size is limited to 1 class (up to 30 children) at a time. If your group is larger than this, you might like to combine your visit with a self-guided Heritage Walk (1.19mB PDF) through the town centre.

Your visit to the Museum can include a guided tour of displays and local history, as well as an opportunity for students to handle and explore historical objects. We have resource sheets available to guide teachers in the discussion of these objects.

You are also welcome to bring your students for a self-guided visit, however bookings are still essential for this.

Depending on the age of your students, we also have activity sheets that can be completed in the Museum, or back in the classroom.

For further details, and to receive copies of resources, please contact the Museum office on (02) 6670 2493.

To make a booking, please complete the Group Booking Form (108kB PDF). Admission to the Museum is free.
